
Rachel Rubin Ladutke grew up in Long Island, N.Y. and now resides in Weehawken, New Jersey
with her husband, Larry, their son. Aidan, and an impressive number of pets (presently 4 cats and a dog).
Rachel attended Wheaton College in Massachusetts, also spending one glorious semester
at the O'Neill Center in Waterford, Connecticut, and returned to NYC upon graduation.There she founded TwinFish Productions, an Equity Showcase company, producing and directing
twelve shows from 1991-1996.She received her M.A. in Theater from Hunter College (C.U.N.Y.) in 2000.
The topic of her thesis was youth theatre in Ireland.In addition to her own writing, Rachel is Editor of Insight For Playwrights,
a monthly marketing newsletter for dramatic writers, and Editor-in-Chief of SEASONS,
the quarterly newsletter of the International Centre for Women Playwrights (ICWP).
Some other strong interests include home-brewing (Rachel and Larry are a great brewing team),
travel (especially camping), folk music, and anything Irish.
